Measured Building Surveys

RG Surveys produce high quality floor plans of any building or structure. Types of measured building survey offered range from basic layout plans, to high detail floor plans with an accuracy to within millimetres.

The plans that RG Surveys produce are used for a variety of functions, be it space planning, building records, fire escape route planning, facilities management, or for the complete refurbishment of a building.

RG Surveys use the latest techniques and technology in its production of floor plans. The non-contact measuring function on the Total Station Theodolites is used to control any irregular shaped structure. Alongside the Theodolite, a combination of Leica Disto, and traditional steel tape measurements are used to create floor plans.

To compliment floor plans, RG Surveys produce elevations, sections and roof plans. From the smallest of flats to a Grade 1 listed building, RG Surveys have the experience and technology to be able to produce floor plans of any building.

All RG Surveys drawings are produced in AutoCAD and can be plotted on plain paper and stable film. Completed AutoCAD drawings can be exported to a variety of other formats to suit individual needs, these include MOSS, MiniCAD, Microstation and PDF. Drawings can be emailed directly to the client or any other consultant.
